How do swim lessons work?

Each camper comes to a swim lesson each morning; our swim staff is excellent and they will place the campers in lessons based on ability.  Our swim instructors also lifeguard in the afternoon, so they know the children well - the pool rules are strict for safety but we manage to have the best time at the pool - Friday pool/dance parties are a weekly favorite!

Is there a camp uniform?

No.  We strongly encourage campers to wear sneakers and/or closed toe water shoes everyday to camp.  Pack flip flops or sandals for the pool.  With all the outdoor activities it is safer to wear a sturdier shoe.

There are specialty instructors throughout the camp - Archery, Craft, Fishing and Boating, Swimming, Cooking, Music/Drama, Nature, and others.  There are a minimum of 2/3 counselors per group with an average number of 15 campers.  Younger group ratio is 1:4.  Our staff is compromised of teachers, professionals, college students and high school students as junior counselors.  Most importantly - they are a group of dedicated individuals who love spending their summers at Trinity with your children.  All staff are screened and have current background checks.  Most of my professional staff have been with me for over 20 years.
